Merlin (Colin Morgan), Merlin
The show is based on the most famous wizard figure in Arthurian legend. When Merlin arrives at Camelot, the King, Uther Pendragon, had already outlawed magic and imprisoned the very last dragon. The young Merlin (who was obviously born with extraordinary magical powers) was taken in by Gaius as an apprentice, and later he discovered from the last dragon that he has an important destiny in protecting Uther's arrogant son, Arthur, so that he may grow up to discover a great kingdom.
