Mike Flaherty (Michael J. Fox), Spin City
Before he served as the Deputy Mayor of New York, Mike was a hard-working campaign manager for Randall Winston. After he won, Randall hired Mike into city hall where he worked his butt off — especially in tricky situations. During his time, he had to deal with a garbage strike (sound familiar, Torontoians?), the mayor shunning the gay community, and losing the Olympic Torch somewhere in New York City (let’s avoid doing this in Vancouver). Mike’s hard work often provided problems for his personal life, but I don’t think he deserves to complain about that. After all, he did get to date supermodel Heidi Klum for a bit.
