First there was The Golden Girls.  Then there was Sex and the City.  Now, it’s Cashmere Mafia.  What’s with the “four-pack” female cast for popular TV shows?  The reason is simpler than you think.

Women are complex, and yet we all have tendencies that seem to guide our lives.  For example, I have been a lawyer, an investment banker, a wife, a mother, and now a writer. For every step I have taken, there is a common thread that seems to define me – and apparently I share this thread with a few fictional TV characters.

While there is no one “type” that can truly define us, we can still ask the question and seek guidance in the answer that emerges – and we’ve got TV’s leading ladies to learn from.  So from Blanche Devereaux, to Carrie Bradshaw, to Juliet Draper, what type of TV woman are you?  You might be pleasantly surprised to find you’re in good company!
