One day you’re giving out roses to more-than-willing ladies, the next you’re hoping those same gals (and their on-the-prowl pals) will throw some crisp greens at your man stems. Or at least, your co-workers’ man stems.

Former Bachelor Jake Pavelka told The Hollywood Reporter that he has recently nabbed a job with famous male strip revue Chippendales.

Pavelka revealed that he will be a part of the sans-trou troupe’s Las Vegas show during an upcoming month. Unfortunately for fans, he will not be removing any clothes for the stint at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, instead serving as a fluffer for the main, all-male event.

“I will be … getting the audience excited for the show as well as closing out the show. I’m leaving [the stripping] to the professionals who have kept the brand thriving since the 1970s,” said Pavelka, who has also appeared on Dancing With the Stars and Bold and the Beautiful

“I’ve always loved the idea of a live audience. Hosting in front of an unpredictable crowd forces you to draw from the energy of the crowd. It’s challenging, but also exciting, to work off that kind of adrenaline, knowing no two shows will be the same.”

This sexy news is sure to cause a stir with Pavelka’s fans, who first saw him on The Bachelorette and recently caught him acting on Drop Dead Diva, but he says there’s no need to make a big deal out of the big reveal.

“I look at this opportunity to stretch my limits as a performer. I don’t want to limit myself based on fear of backlash,” he tells THR. “Hosting a live show is something I have always dreamed of doing.”

Plus, as Pavelka notes, male stripping is quite the hot topic in pop culture these days, especially with release of the erotic dance film Magic Mike, which stars former Chippendales employee Channing Tatum and is inspired by his life.

Magic Mike also features White Collar’s Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughy and True Blood’s Joe Manganiello, and is being directed by Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven).

“It’s nothing new to Hollywood,” Pavelka says of strip culture. “Look at Boogie Nights or Sin City, or even Flashdance. Hollywood has always known that sex sells.”

He adds, “As our society becomes more open-minded, we get to see the other side of things, like male dancers in addition to female.

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Omni2/ABC.
