Back in 2009, U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama popped up on Sesame Street to help the educational kids’ show celebrate its 40th anniversary. And now, she’s making the rounds on another children’s series – Nickelodeon's iCarly.

Obama made a cameo on the episode entitled “iMeet the First Lady: A Very Special Visitor,” which aired Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon in the U.S. In it, Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) discovered that her U.S. Air Force dad can’t come home for her birthday.

However, things turned for the better when Obama shows up and thanks Carly for supporting her father's duties overseas.

Obama opened a Twitter account (@MichelleObama) a week ago, and she already has more than 412,000 followers.

“There are some big iCarly fans in our household, so we're all pretty excited about today's event with military kids and the cast,” she tweeted on Jan. 13.

On Wednesday, she followed up with the tweet, “This was too much fun,” and posted a link to a video clip of her appearance.

In Canada, iCarly airs on Nickelodeon Canada and YTV. It debuted in 2007, and stars Cosgrove as Carly Shay, who creates a web show called iCarly with her best friends Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress).
