Two international brands being extended to Canada and an all-news channel are among the highlights of Rogers’ fall television schedule.

Both America’s Got Talent and Secret Millionaire will have Canadian versions, airing on Citytv this coming season. The country-wide search for contestants on Canada’s Got Talent begins soon, with a broadcast date set for spring 2012; no word on judges or a host yet. No airdate or production details have been released for Secret Millionaire Canada, which finds real-life wealthy folks helping the impoverished.

The news is part of Rogers’ announcement regarding their fall schedule, which is highlighted by the additions of Steven Spielberg’s Terra Nova, NBC’s The Playboy Club and Fox’s New Girl. Parenthood has been dropped from Citytv’s lineup.

In addition, the 24-hour CityNews Channel will launch in Toronto this October.
