Chuck fans, are you ready for the fantastic news? NBC has finally announced when the nerdy spy-comedy will be back — Jan. 10.
If you check your calendars, Jan. 10, 2010, is a Sunday, but don’t fret. According to EW.com, Chuck will return with two back-to-back episodes, then move into its regular Monday at 8 p.m. timeslot the next day.
That makes it a two-night, three-hour event. Giddy. Up.
Chuck’s third season has been upped from 13 to 19 episodes. And Chuck’s return to the lead-off spot of NBC’s Monday night means that Heroes will move back to its more appropriate 9 p.m. time.
But while the Peacock announced earlier this month that no more episodes of Trauma — which currently airs in the Monday at 9 p.m. timeslot — would be ordered, an NBC rep has confirmed that the network has indeed requested three additional episodes of the actioner, bringing its season’s episode total to 16.
The first 10 episodes of Trauma will air by Christmas, but dates for the remaining six have not been set.
