It’s a sad day for fans of Dynasty and its saga of the shoulder-padded Carrington clan. Paul Burke, who played Neal McVane on the ‘80s series, has died. He was 83.
Burke passed away in his home in Palm Springs on Sunday, family spokeswoman Daniela Ryan told The Associated Press. Burke’s wife, Lyn, was at his side.
Burke had been battling with leukemia and non-Hodgkins lymphoma and was twice nominated for an Emmy for his role as Det. Adam Flint in the crime drama Naked City.
During his 40-year career, Burke also appeared in shows such as 12 O'Clock High, Hot Shots, Magnum, P.I. and Santa Barbara.
On the big screen, he made marks with roles in films including Valley of the Dolls and The Thomas Crown Affair.
No word yet on plans for a memorial service.
