In a classic blond-on-blond bloodbath that would put the Ashlee Simpson-Lindsay Lohan feud to shame, Brooke Hogan is targeting Heidi Montag-Pratt in the lyrics of her upcoming single.
Unlike the less obvious Simpson lyrics in “I Didn’t Steal your Boyfriend,” Hogan’s single, “Ur Not That Hot!” sets the tone with a stranger impersonating Montag, leaving a mock voicemail along the lines of, “This is Heidi Montag. I just want to let you know that I’m making a record and that your record better watch its back. And, if you think that Stack$ is awesome, just wait for Spencer. Bye.”
Stack$ is Hogan’s boyfriend, a rapper who is also featured Eminem-styles in the single, which the wrestler’s daughter claims is a social comment on talentless people getting further ahead in the game of life than those who work their butts off.
“This is just the tip of the iceberg,” Hogan commented on her MySpace blog in reference to her new album. “I'm so sick of people that use me and my family, people with NO talent calling people out who work harder than them, and just people who have a dumbass attitude to begin with:)”
Little Hogan has never been one to shy away from her opinions, showcasing them with the media over her parents’ very public divorce and flaunting them on her reality show, Brooke Knows Best, which is currently in airing its second season on VH1.
As one fan points out in the comments section, these "diss songs" usually come from more controversial sources, like Eminem or 50 Cent, not someone like Brooke, who just wants to “rock it out.”
The Pratts have gained reality momentum in the past few tiresome months thanks to their sleazy Hills lies, their I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here antics and the recent rumours circulating that Montag is posing for Playboy and getting paid $25,000 to strip at a New York nightclub.
The Hills star hasn’t retaliated to the song, but her husband has. Pratt sent MTV News an email asking, “Is that the wrestler’s daughter? If so, Speidi will be praying for her and her family.”
There’s something so endearing about reality star couples who use their own celebrity nicknames, isn’t there? amber@tvguide.ca
