Who doesn’t love Jesse James? The Monster Garage host and recent Celebrity Apprentice contender is the guy next door, with an adrenaline-fuelled personality that never translates into aggression. Oh, and he’s married to mega-movie star Sandra Bullock.

After hauling butt to successfully pull off huge motor projects, James’ latest stunt project, Jesse James is a Dead Man, is turning out to be wildly successful, too.

The Spike TV project set record ratings for the network on Sunday evening with the show’s première episode, drawing in 2 million viewers in the 10 p.m. timeslot.

Each episode, James tackles some sort of death-defying stunt, including riding a motorcycle in -60 degree temperatures on an ice-highway and off-road racing. Basically, anything involving a bike, James will do.

The 10-episode series is produced by James’ company, Base Prods.

James recently placed in the Top 4 on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, but was fired after last season’s winner, Piers Morgan, accused James of not using his full celebrity potential.
