Farrah Fawcett’s story is just getting sadder.

While the 62-year-old actress fights a losing battle with cancer, word has it that her former business partner is suing her longtime companion, Ryan O’Neal, and best friend, Alana Stewart, over Fawcett’s documentary airing on NBC tonight.

Farrah’s Story spotlights the actress’ two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer, for which she has flown around the world looking for a cure.

Craig Nevius isn’t seeking an injunction to stop the broadcast, says The New York Post, but he is seeking an unspecified dollar amount from both O’Neal and Stewart, because he says he was dumped from the doc and the idea was stolen from him.

Nevius states in his lawsuit that he has been Fawcett’s confidante since 2004, when he produced the reality show Chasing Farrah.

“Fawcett entrusted him with many of her most personal and sensitive matters, and Nevius has been a trusted friend ever since,” says Nevius’ lawyer, Miles Feldman.

The lawsuit contains a document with a signature by the Charlie’s Angels actress, dated April 1, apparently confirming Nevius’ creative control over the project, though another agreement signed April 20 gave O’Neal control of the project.
