Redmond O'Neal faces prison time
The legal woes continue for Farrah Fawcett’s son, Redmond O'Neal. TV Guide is reporting that after a judge ruled that he violated his probation, he could land in jail for three years.

O’Neal was charged last week for possessing heroin when he was stopped at a security checkpoint at a detention facility.

"Mr. O'Neal was recently discharged from a residential treatment facility after testing positive for meth and because traces of heroin were found in his room," a rep for the Los Angeles District Attorney told People.

Last Friday, the judge ended O’Neal’s participation in a program that lets drug offenders receive treatment instead of serving jail time.

Fawcett out of hospital
While it’s bad news for O’Neal, it’s good news for his mother. Fawcett was released from a L.A. hospital on Thursday, says The Associated Press.

The 62-year-old actress was admitted for internal bleeding not directly related to her anal cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2006.

Fawcett’s cancer specialist, Dr. Lawrence Piro, told reporters last week that Fawcett recently had a "minor procedure" in Germany that "led to a small amount of bleeding into a muscle in her abdominal wall."

He said the result was a hematoma (a sac of blood), which caused pressure and pain. Piro added that Fawcett was in good spirits.
