Two days after So You Think You Can Dance guest choreographer Alex Da Silva was accused of sexually assaulting four of his dance students, the Los Angeles district attorney’s office says it does not have enough evidence to charge him.

The Associated Press says defence attorney Harland Braun explained that some of the people with whom his client had sex “don’t understand the difference between being seduced and being raped.”

The 41-year-old salsa dancer was arrested last weekend as he left his Hollywood studio.

He was released on bail Tuesday while prosecutors investigated allegations that Da Silva lured female dance students into bedrooms in his two homes and raped them in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
