The actress probably best known as Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place has been arrested.
Heather Locklear was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of driving under the influence of controlled substances in Montecito, according to the L.A. Times.
According to the article, Locklear was arrested by the California Highway Patrol and booked at 7 p.m. after someone called 911 to report someone driving erratically. That person also claimed to have seen a woman, looking visibly impaired, getting into a car in a Montecito parking lot around 4:30 p.m.
The Associated Press is reporting that 47-year-old Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication, and that patrol spokesman Tom Marshall said the responding officer spotted her car parked on a state highway, blocking a lane.
After being tested for drugs and alcohol and booked, the actress is no longer in custody.
Last June TVGuide.ca reported that Locklear had entered into treatment for anxiety and depression.
