Dustin Diamond, most known for playing Samuel “Screech” Powers on Saved By the Bell, is writing a tell-all book about his days on the teen show.

In Behind the Bell, Diamond (with the help of a ghostwriter) will reveal the trysts between cast members, the drug use on the set, and the cast’s hardcore partying, reports New York Magazine.

Since playing Screech on Saved by the Bell from 1989-93, Saved by the Bell: The College Years from 1993-94, and Saved by the Bell: The New Class from 1993-2000, Diamond hasn’t had much going for him.

Having failed to revive his career with a sex tape in 2006, the actor was so cash-strapped that he sold autographed T-shirts to prevent the foreclosure of his home.

Diamond apparently hates being referred to by the name of his Saved by the Bell character. According to a contract rider obtained by The Smoking Gun in 2006, promoters are warned that any reference made to the actor as Screech in ads, flyers and marques would incur a $100 fine.

Also in the contract is a warning that Diamond’s act is a dirty one, and that two pints of chilled chocolate milk must await him in his dressing room. Guess Diamond isn’t high enough in the celebrity food chain to ask for some cookies with his milk.
