Mischa Barton is accepting a plea bargain, bringing her December DUI charges to a close.
The former O.C. star was charged with four misdemeanours in February, after being arrested for driving, unlicensed, with a blood alcohol level of 0.8 or higher.
Barton was arrested Dec. 27 after being pulled over for questionable driving, including failing to signal and driving between lanes.
She has now agreed to serve three years unsupervised probation, which People reports will allow her to avoid spending time in jail and revoke marijuana possession charges from the same arrest.
The report says Barton is planning to plead no contest, which will also reduce the charge for driving without a licence to a minor traffic infraction, requiring the 22-year-old actress to undergo a three-month alcohol education class and pay a fine of $1,700.
The deal, which is a common arrangement for first-time offenders, is expected to be closed in court on April 10.
