When Desperate Housewives returns April 13, the fourth season will pick up five months following the hurricane that hit Wisteria Lane. Then, only a handful of episodes later, the suburban street will undergo an even more drastic time warp.
TV Guide reports there are plans for the show to fast-forward five years for the last few scenes of the season finale. Housewives would then pick up where it left off – half a decade later – for Season 5.
Also in consideration is a time jump backwards, meaning the show would visit Wisteria Lane back in the days before Mary Alice committed suicide.
The shift could mean a number of things for the cast: first, it’d be much more feasible to introduce the aging cast as five years older rather than vice versa. But for children of the show, particularly the young Scavos and the new babies on the block, recasting would be mandatory for producers.
Sounds like they’ve realized the show is in need of a major overhaul. After all, the real-life Housewives are leading more scandalous lives than their characters.
Nicollette Sheridan is about to have all her dirty laundry aired courtesy ex-boyfriend Nicklas Soderblom.
The actor, who split with Sheridan in 2005, will tell all in his upcoming and cleverly titled book Not a Desperate Houseman.
In the book, Soderblom describes his ex as “cold” and “spiteful,” reveals secrets of their private relationship and dishes on fights between Sheridan and her Housewives co-stars.
While the book is sure to stir up controversy for the actress, co-star Eva Longoria Parker can now breathe a sigh of relief.
Claims accusing her husband and basketball star Tony Parker of cheating on his new bride with Alexandra Paressant have now officially been revoked.
X17 Online has now acknowledged the model’s claims as false and the website has posted an apology and retraction. Parker filed a $40 million lawsuit against X17 after the allegations were made.
