So You Think You Can Dance
Rock of Love II
Celebrity Circus
The Baby Borrowers

Show: So You Think You Can Dance
Date: Airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, returned May 22, CTV/FOX
In a nutshell: Amateur dancers compete in every type of dance for the title of America’s Favorite Dancer.
Predictions: After all the krumping, breaking, mamboing, salsaing, jiving, hip-hopping, foxtrotting, quickstepping, waltzing and Broadwaying, another amazing dancer will be crowned. This show ends way too quickly, if you ask me.

Show: Rock of Love II
Date: Airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET, returns June 4, Citytv
In a nutshell: Bret Michaels, lead singer of the rock band, Poison, is back and looking for love… again.
Predictions: Twenty more babes vie for his love and affection and bare more than their souls to grab Bret’s attention. After the elimination ceremony – which leaves 15 ladies in contention – they get two shocking surprises. Um, can you see Rock of Love III?
Bret Michaels, Citytv

Show: Celebrity Circus
Date: Wednesday, June 11, 9 p.m. ET, two-hour premiere; series resumes June 18, 9 p.m. ET, E!/NBC
In a nutshell: With the help of professional circus troupes, celebrities perfect their acts over the course of eight weeks and compete against each other for votes. Though judges provide feedback, viewers decide who wins, natch.
Predictions: Sounds like a star-studded, high-flying version of America’s Got Talent. There’s real danger involved – like tightrope-walking and acrobatics – which is a draw, but I can’t get the ratings flop that was Secret Talents of the Stars out of my mind.

Show: The Baby Borrowers
Date: Wednesday, June 25, 8 p.m. ET, NBC
In a nutshell: Based on the British series, this reality show asks five teenage couples to set up a home, get a job and become parents first to babies, then toddlers, then teenagers, all in three weeks.
Predictions: For its meltdown potential alone, this series could be a hit. The success of Wife Swap has proven people love to rubberneck at a disaster – for seasons upon seasons. Plus, it could be an eye-opener for naïve teens. Think of your high-school Home Economics class on speed.
