‘Veep’: Inferiority complex
Sunday’s episode of Veep, “Nicknames,” delved into what makes Selina Meyer and Washington tick. The former is an accomplished woman on the surface, yet insecure about her position on the inside. While the latter is an institution held up as a bastion of democracy, yet bogged down by backroom dealings and party lines.

Going home on ‘Girls’
As a member of the large population of early-twentysomethings who have left home to pursue educational/career success, I deeply understood the awkwardness of Sunday night’s episode of 'Girls.' Two scenes in particular vied for my affection: Hannah singing Jewel’s “Hands” in the car, and Heather’s pop-star debut at Carrie Lawrence’s memorial ceremony.

None other than Lady Gaga rolled into Springfield on Sunday's episode of 'The Simpsons.' The Season 23 finale saw the pop superstar perform for the town and try to cheer up a morose Lisa.
