Pre-strike: The strike didn’t affect the continuous airing of this show, but it was cut short in what was going to be the longest season. Instead, we’re only getting 14 episodes.

Post-strike: This season has not failed to shock me at all. Eden is one of the most evil characters I’ve ever seen on television. There is not one storyline that hasn’t been gripping; even the guest characters and secondary storylines have been riveting.

Character Development: Sean’s plunge into the world of Hollywood has started to alter his clean-cut personality. Christian had some emotional moments, but I had really hoped to see more of an internal conscience develop. Can’t the writers give Julia a break?

Cliffhangers/Wrap Up: I am dying to see the season finale. Now that Julia finally knows the reason behind her illness, I’m scared to find out if she’s alive or not. The whole incest storyline with Matt is also super-insane. I bet that will play out for a while. The time has also come for Sean to get a reality check with his acting gig.
