Where we left off: Hugh Rowland, Rick Yemm and Alex Debogorski were driving on the frozen Artic waters, trucking supplies to diamond minds in the Northwest Territories.
Predictions: Season 2 is already on ITunes, so I can tell you that the driving route has changed, and the fellows are now shipping supplies to oil fields by way of the Arctic Ocean. Hugh and Alex battle it out to see who delivers the most loads to the fields, while Rick is still complaining about his life.
The buzz: Ice Road Truckers is second only to Deadliest Catch for drama and engaging characters. I’m telling you, there’s something about watching guys drive 18-wheelers on 30 inches of ice over an ocean that just gets the blood pumping. Would I do it? No way. But will I watch? Absolutely.
