Who’s in it: Gillian McKeith (You Are What You Eat).

What’s it about: In each episode, the no-nonsense British holistic nutritionist gives an overweight Canadian woman a food and exercise plan geared to help rev up her sex life and regain her self-confidence.

Reminds us of: Slice’s Re-Vamped, X-Weighted and Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp.

The buzz: With North Americans growing increasingly overweight, reality shows geared to the phenomenon have been booming – just look at The Biggest Loser, Ruby or More to Love. Plus, Eat Yourself Sexy is cheap to produce and sits on a plum network geared to its target audience, women. Our guess is that it lasts at least a few seasons, if McKeith is up to it. Fun fact: recently, she told TVGuide.ca that working with Canadians instead of Brits was a mixed blessing. Since we’re so polite, she actually felt bad taking her trademark tough-love approach.
