It was time to meet the parents on Monday’s episode of The Bachelor, as Ben visited each of the final four’s hometowns. I thought it might be fun to imagine how each of the girls viewed their hometown dates with Ben, in the form of letters. Behold:

Dearest Ben,
Thanks for coming to Florida to meet my amazing horses — and my family too. I had the best time ever “horsing around” with you, (and you know all those other fun clichés!) Your presence helped me discover things about my family that I never knew — like the fact that my parents got married in San Fran. Totally weird that we’ve never had that conversation! Anyway, my family loved you. You’re missing a dad, and mine is up for grabs — let’s do the logical thing and get married.
Lots of love, Lindzi.

To my sweet Benny-Ben-Ben,
It’s obvious that things didn’t go well with my parents in Tennessee. I can’t imagine why they would think living with you before marriage is a mistake — especially because the merging of our hair straightening tools and products would be epic. Even though daddy is going to ground me HUGE for all the cursing I did on the show, I know he’ll forgive us both. If he doesn’t, we’ll run away together — just me, you and my baton. My baton can get us through ANYTHING!
Your sweetie pie, Kacie. Xoxoxox!!!!

To my cowboy-in-training,
Thank you so much for GOIN’ BIG with me in Texas. I apologize again for ruining your hair with those cowboy hats — I should have known that would be a bad idea. I’m very mature because I’ve already been married once, but somehow I still lack the wisdom to see how bad you are for me. Oh well! The heart wants what it wants, right? Me and mom gushed about you all night — we can’t wait until you can join us for slumber parties in the future!
Love you lots, like, seriously, Nicki.

Benjamin,
I’m a model, we skinny-dipped and I OWN YOU — just in case you forgot. That whole pretend wedding thing was fun, right? It was so sweet, simple and rustic — the opposite of me. But don’t be mistaken. On the day we get married, I WILL be the bridezilla of your worst nightmares.
Love, kisses and lip bites, Courtney. THE MODEL.

After the week of hometown festivities, Ben gave roses to Lindzi, Nicki and Courtney — sending Kacie back home to her parents. She was totally crushed, and Ben had absolutely nothing to say by way of explanation — as usual. On the plus side, the final three are heading to Switzerland with Ben next week for overnight dates, which should include some pretty stunning scenic shots. (Yes, I’m genuinely looking forward to that more than the dates.) We’ll also get a chance to see a preview for Emily’s upcoming season of The Bachelorette — yay!
