Fox is dishing us another new reality dating series, this one called More to Love, and I’m not so sure it is…more to love.
Created by Mike Fleiss (The Bachelor, The Bachelorette) we find 26-year-old, successful real estate investor – and husky bachelor – Luke Conley on his quest for true love. The series, hosted by plus-supermodel Emme, introduced viewers to 20 voluptuous women who are also looking for someone special to love.
More to Love is stuffed with positive messages of loving who you are and having self-respect. Every other scene spotlights Luke or one of the bachelorettes talking about how appearances aren’t everything, to be proud of who you are and that what really matters is on the inside. In addition to learning to love myself, these are some other things I gleaned from watching More to Love:
• It doesn’t matter what shape, size or colour a woman is, because they are still all catty with one another.
• If you want to stand out amongst other women and catch a guy’s eye, swim with him without clothes on, not by yourself, and not in an expensive gown.
• Can someone really be so desperate that they say they’d be happy with a man who’s “somewhere between axe murderer and priest”? (This is more of a hypothesis than a lesson learned.)
• Finally, the only size that matters in love is how big your heart is.
Awwwwwwww……
More to Love airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Citytv/Fox
