'Hell's Kitchen' Season 5 contestants!

In lieu of Kitchen Nightmares (which host Gordon Ramsay postponed production on due to his recent marital problems), Fox is bringing back Hell’s Kitchen a full season earlier! This popular contest returns in January with a brand-new Thursday night timeslot, a whole lot of cooking, and Ramsay’s incessant swearing.

16 fresh faces go head-to-head for the chance to work at one of the East Coast’s leading resort destinations, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J. With varying backgrounds and cooking experiences, these chefs must sauté, grill and flip their way through tough challenges and demanding dinner services before one is crowned the winner.

In the season premiere, the contestants prepare their signature dishes for Ramsay before breaking up into teams, and preparing for their first dinner service in Hell.
