It’s that time of year again when the nights start getting a little cooler, kids are preparing to go back to school and you find yourself asking “where did the summer go?”
For us at TVGuide.ca the summer season usually gives us all a little breather from being slaves to the boob tube. Summer programming has always been marred with plenty of no-brainer reality programming and the networks testing out new shows during this slow season and but 2010's summer has also been filled with some pretty incredible moments too.
Critically acclaimed shows like Mad Men and True Blood returned. New shows like Rookie Blue and Hot in Cleveland scored high in Canadian ratings each week. And TV news full of castings, firings and gossip hasn’t exactly slowed down either. A break from TV? I don’t think so.
This week the all mighty fall season commences, absolutely bursting with a packed schedule of new and returning shows. So before we dive head first into the mecca, let’s take a look back at this past summer’s most memorable TV moments.
