The 2010 Winter Olympic Games may have gotten off to a dismal start (an athlete’s death, for example, or the Opening Ceremonies, which people either loved or hated), but as the weeks passed, things looked up.
There were joyous moments, as well as some heartbreakers, and tears, both happy and sad, were shed all around. Canadians got to hear our our national anthem more times than ever before, which made Vancouver 2010 that much sweeter.
